Acceptable Use Policy

By submitting content to Cantarova, you confirm that:

• It is yours to submit, and it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
• Where it is about another person, you are entitled to share those details, and sharing them will not harm or humiliate them.
• It is accurate as far as you know, and not intended to deceive anyone.

Do not submit anything that:

• Harasses, threatens, bullies, defames, or humiliates a real person.
• Sexualises a child in any way, or depicts a minor sexually.
• Promotes hatred or violence against people because of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
• Encourages self-harm, suicide, or violence against anyone.
• Is designed to impersonate a real person, or to make it appear that a real artist performed the song.
• Reproduces the lyrics of an existing copyrighted song, or asks for a song in the voice of a named recording artist.
• Contains someone else's private information, such as their address, phone number, or financial details.
• Is unlawful in the country where you live or where the recipient lives.

Submitted content is screened automatically before we generate anything. If an order is blocked you are told politely, and you are not charged.

Automated screening is imperfect in both directions. If yours was blocked and you think that was wrong, email us and a person will look at it.

If someone has made a song about you and you want it taken down, email us with the gift page link. We will disable the page while we look into it, and we do not require you to prove anything before we do that.

The same applies if you hold rights in material you believe has been reproduced. Tell us what it is and where, and we will act.

Depending on what happened, we may refuse the order, take down a gift page, close the account, or — where the law requires it — report the matter. Where we refuse an order before delivery, you are not charged.
