Terms of Sale & Use

These terms govern your use of Cantarova and any song you buy from us. Please read the sections on delivery, the licence you receive, and your cancellation rights especially carefully.

Last updated: 28 juillet 2026

This document is currently available in English only. If anything in it is unclear, email us and we will explain it in your language.

1. Who you are contracting with

When you buy a song from Cantarova, your contract is with:

NOVALY GROUP LTD

trading as Cantarova

5th Floor167-169 Great Portland StreetLondonW1W 5PFUnited Kingdom
Company number:
16823691
Registered in:
England and Wales

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company, and "you" means the person placing the order. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, whether or not you buy anything.

2. Who may use Cantarova

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or place an order. If you are under 18, you may only order with the involvement of a parent or guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.

You must give us an email address you can actually access. Your song, your receipt, and your sign-in links are all delivered by email, and we cannot deliver an order to an address that does not work.

3. How your song is made

Cantarova is an automated service. Your song is generated by artificial intelligence, not performed by human musicians, and no human writes or reviews your lyrics before they reach you.

The process runs in this order:

  1. You complete the wizard: style, genre, voice, song language, who the song is for, and the story you want it built around.
  2. An AI model writes original lyrics from what you provided.
  3. You review those lyrics. You can edit them or ask for a rewrite, free of charge, before anything is charged to you.
  4. We generate short preview clips so you can hear the song before you decide.
  5. If you are happy, you pay, and we produce and deliver the full version.

Because the vocals, instrumentation, and arrangement are produced by an AI model, the finished song will not sound identical to the preview clips, and two songs made from the same inputs will differ. This is a characteristic of the technology, not a defect.

4. What you receive

Every paid order includes:

  • A full-length MP3 of your song, downloadable from your account and linked in your delivery email.
  • A private shareable gift page with its own link and cover artwork.
  • A printable PDF of the lyrics.
  • An AI-generated cover image.
  • Access to all of the above from your account for as long as your account exists.

Premium orders additionally include multiple full versions to choose between and the ability to request a lyric-edit re-render after delivery. The exact contents of each tier are shown on the pricing page at the time you order, and that description forms part of these terms.

5. What you may do with your song

When your payment clears, we grant you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use your song for personal, non-commercial purposes. That includes:

  • Playing it, keeping it, and giving it to the person it was written for.
  • Sharing it privately with family and friends, including by sending them the gift page link.
  • Playing it at a private event such as a wedding, birthday, or funeral.
  • Posting it on your personal social media accounts.

This licence does not permit you to:

  • Sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit the song.
  • Distribute it to streaming platforms such as Spotify or Apple Music, or monetise it through them.
  • Use it in advertising, in a paid or sponsored production, or in any other commercial context.
  • Register it with a collecting society or claim it in a content-identification system such as YouTube Content ID.
  • Present it as having been written or performed by a human artist.

If you need commercial rights, contact us before you order — we will tell you honestly whether we can offer them for your use case.

Copyright in AI-generated music is unsettled in many countries, and in some of them a purely AI-generated work may attract no copyright protection at all. We therefore cannot and do not promise that you will own enforceable copyright in your song, or that you can stop someone else using something similar.

6. The story and names you give us

You keep ownership of the story, names, and details you submit. You give us permission to use them for the sole purpose of producing and delivering your order.

Because your song is usually about someone else, you confirm that you are entitled to share the details you give us about that person, and that doing so will not breach their privacy or harm them. Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not submit, and it forms part of these terms.

7. Prices and payment

The price shown at checkout is the total you pay. There is no subscription, and nothing recurs. The currency is fixed when you start your order, so the price you were shown in the preview is the price you are charged.

Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Your order is confirmed only once Stripe tells us the payment has succeeded — a redirect back to our site is not, by itself, confirmation.

Occasionally we run genuine time-limited offers. Where a countdown is shown, the discount really does end when it says it does.

8. Delivery

We aim to deliver within minutes of payment, and the overwhelming majority of orders arrive that fast. Occasionally an order takes longer because a generation step has to be retried.

If your song has not arrived within 24 hours of payment, contact us. If we cannot deliver it at all, we will refund you in full.

Delivery emails sometimes land in spam or promotions folders. Your song is always available in your account regardless of what happened to the email.

9. Changes after delivery

If a name in your song is pronounced wrongly, tell us and we will fix the pronunciation and re-render the track at no charge. This is the single most common issue and we treat it as a defect, not a favour.

Premium orders may also request a lyric edit after delivery. Free revisions are limited in number; the current limit is shown on your order page.

A re-rendered song replaces the original at the same links, so any gift page you have already shared updates automatically.

10. Cancellation and refunds

Your cancellation rights, including the 14-day withdrawal right and the circumstances in which it does not apply, are set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Availability of the service

We try to keep Cantarova running continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend the service for maintenance, or withdraw features, without notice.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, or if we reasonably suspect fraud. Where we do that to an account with paid orders in it, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to download what you have already bought unless the law prevents us.

12. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses — this service is sold for personal use.

Where we are liable, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything in these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it, and we do not apply changes retrospectively to orders already made.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If you live in the EU or elsewhere outside England and Wales, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
