Refund & Cancellation Policy

You are not asked for payment until you have read your lyrics and heard preview clips of your song. Up to that point you can edit the lyrics, request a rewrite, or simply walk away, and you will not have been charged anything.

This is deliberate. It is the reason we can treat completed orders as final.

If you live in the UK or the EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel something bought online and get your money back, without giving a reason. This right applies to digital content such as a song.

The law also lets you give that right up in exchange for immediate delivery — which is what almost everyone here wants, because the whole point of Cantarova is that your song arrives in minutes rather than in a fortnight.

So, at checkout, we ask you to confirm two things before you pay:

1. That you want us to start producing and delivering your song straight away, rather than waiting 14 days.
2. That you understand you will lose your right to cancel once we start.

This reflects regulation 37 of the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and Article 16(1)(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

Once you have consented to immediate delivery and your song has been produced, we do not refund for:

• Changing your mind, or the recipient not liking the song.
• Not liking the voice, genre, or arrangement, when the preview you approved reflected it.
• Buying the wrong tier, occasion, or language when the choice was yours to make.
• The song differing from the preview clips in arrangement or performance — this is inherent to how AI music generation works, and it is stated before you buy.

In most of these cases we would rather fix the song than argue about a refund. Ask us for a re-render before you ask us for your money back.

Separately from any cancellation right, you have a statutory right to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. That right cannot be signed away, it does not depend on which tier you bought, and it is not limited to 14 days.

So if any of the following happens, we will fix it or refund you:

• The audio file is corrupted, silent, truncated, or will not play.
• The song is not in the language or genre you ordered.
• The lyrics delivered are not the lyrics you approved.
• A name is mispronounced — we re-render it correctly at no charge.
• The order never arrived at all.
• Any part of the bundle you paid for is missing.

Our first step is normally to re-render the song properly, because that is what you actually wanted. If we cannot put it right within a reasonable time, you get your money back.

Email us with your order reference and what went wrong. A one-line description is enough — you do not need to argue a case.

We aim to reply within one working day. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, and typically appear within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank.

If something is wrong, contacting us is faster than raising a chargeback and it gets you the same outcome. A chargeback takes weeks, and while it is open we cannot resolve the problem for you.
